A glass front cabinet in solid teak, hand-carved and finished in blush cream, glazed on the front and both sides.

The display section runs almost the full height. Two glazed doors meet at a carved centre stile, both ends are glazed, and glass shelves carry through the whole interior on concealed supports.

Because there is glass on three sides, the cabinet reads as open even when it is full, and anything inside can be seen from wherever you stand in the room.

The base is serpentine, waving forward and back along its length, with carved detail along its lower edge and cabriole legs at the corners.

Carving is used lightly: a crest with a rosette at the top, a carved centre stile, capitals at the shoulders and a shaped base. Everything else is left plain.

Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Glaze a cabinet on three sides and you take away the thing that normally keeps it square.

Most cabinets rely on a back board. A sheet fixed across the back stops the case from leaning sideways - it works the way a diagonal brace works, holding the rectangle from collapsing into a parallelogram. Add solid sides and the case becomes rigid without anyone thinking about it.

This cabinet has none of that. The sides are glass, the front is glass, and the back is kept pale and thin so it does not darken the interior. Glass is stiff but it cannot be relied on as structure, and it must never be asked to carry the case.

So the rigidity is built into two frames instead. The base frame and the cornice are each made as a closed, jointed ring, stiff in their own plane, and the four corner posts run in single lengths from one to the other. The case behaves like a table with two rigid frames tied by four legs, which is a structure that holds itself square without a panel anywhere.

It is why the doors on a glazed-side cabinet like this still close evenly years later.

Material: solid teak in the corner posts, door frames, centre stile, base frame, cornice and legs.

Glazing: two glazed front doors, glazed panels to both ends.

Interior: glass shelves on concealed supports, pale finished back.

Structure: jointed base frame and cornice acting as rigid frames, tied by single-length corner posts.

Base: serpentine front with carved lower edge.

Legs: hand-shaped cabriole legs, carved at the knee.

Carving: shaped cornice with central rosette crest, carved centre stile, shoulder capitals and carved base edge.

Finish: blush cream ground with warmer-toned highlighting on the carving.

Made to order: height, width, depth, shelf count and spacing, and finish are all customisable. Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

With glass on three sides, almost every outer surface of this cabinet is glass, so nearly all of it travels separately from the case.

Both side panels are removed, taped across the face, foam-sleeved and crated flat. The doors are unhung and packed the same way, glass apart from frames.

Glass shelves ship in a slotted box with foam dividers.

The carcass - which at this point is essentially posts, base frame and cornice - is wrapped in acid-free tissue against the blush finish, then foam sheet, then bubble wrap, with rigid protection along the cornice edge.

Each cabriole leg is detached where the design allows, sleeved in foam and boxed with blocking at the ankle. The carved crest is boxed on its own.

Hardwood crates throughout, corner-protected and marked for orientation and lift points. Multi-layer protective packaging is included with every order at no extra cost.

Free delivery anywhere in India, with dent-free arrival guaranteed. No distance charge, no size charge, no handling fee.

Production starts once your dimensions are confirmed in writing, and we photograph your actual cabinet as it goes - the frame assembled before glazing, the carving, the blush finish, and the finished piece with the glass in.

Because the cabinet arrives largely unglazed, it comes through doorways and up stairs far more easily than a fully assembled glass cabinet would. On site, our team assembles and levels the case on its legs first, checks it square in both directions, then fits the side panels, hangs the doors and installs the glass shelves last.

Send us lift dimensions, stair turns and doorway widths ahead of dispatch so the route can be planned. Every photograph on this page is of the actual product, not a render.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty. On this cabinet the warranty matters more than usual on two specific parts - the base frame and the cornice - because with glazed sides those two frames are what hold the case square, and they are built and guaranteed accordingly, along with the corner posts and leg joints.

A lifetime warranty against termite damage runs with the cabinet and never expires. The oils naturally present in teak are its own defence, and our warranty is what stands behind it.

Glass, side panels, shelves, supports and hardware are covered against manufacturing defect.

The blush cream finish and the carved highlighting are applied by hand and recorded against your order, so a later retouch is matched precisely. Contact us with your order number and we will arrange it.
