A showcase almirah in solid teak, hand-carved and finished in champagne, with rounded glazed ends and a shaped two-door centre. It works in a drawing room or a formal living room where the cabinet is meant to be a piece of furniture in its own right.

The bowed ends are the defining feature. Shaped glass wraps each end from top to bottom, and the display inside them is visible from three sides. Between them, the flat centre carries two doors with shaped heads, glazed for display and panelled at the base.

Fluted columns stand at each junction, running full height and giving the front its vertical rhythm. The lower panels are worked with a fine filigree pattern that catches light without adding bulk.

Glass shelves throughout keep the interior bright. The base sits on shaped feet with a pierced carved apron running between them, so the cabinet reads as lifted rather than planted.

Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

The columns on the front of this almirah are not placed by dividing the width into equal parts. They are placed by geometry, and getting them wrong would ruin the outline.

Each bowed end is an arc. That arc has to run out and become the flat front of the cabinet, and there is exactly one point where it does so smoothly - the tangent point, where the curve is already travelling in the same direction as the straight section it meets. Put the dividing column an inch inside that point and the curve is cut off before it has finished, leaving a visible kink at the join. Put it an inch outside and the flat front starts before the column, so a short flat runs where the eye expects curve.

Our artisans find that point on the drawing first and then confirm it on the built carcass with a straightedge laid along the flat front. The straightedge should touch the curve at one place only. Where it does, the column goes.

Everything else - flute spacing, panel widths, apron divisions - is then set out from those column positions, not the other way round.

Material: solid teak in the carcass, columns, door frames, panels, cornice and feet.

Ends: bowed and glazed with shaped glass running the full display height.

Centre: two doors with shaped heads, glazed above with filigree-worked panels below.

Columns: fluted, full height, set at the tangent point where each bow meets the flat front.

Interior: glass shelves on concealed supports through both the centre and the bowed ends.

Base: shaped carved feet with a pierced carved apron running between them.

Top: moulded cornice with a carved central cartouche.

Finish: champagne ground with hand-applied metallic detail on carving, flutes and filigree.

Made to order: width, height, depth, shelf spacing, panel pattern and finish tone are all customisable. Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Shaped glass gets the most attention here. Each bowed pane is taped across its face, bedded into foam cut to its own curve so it cannot rock or rotate, and crated on its own away from the cabinet body.

The centre doors are unhung and crated flat, glass taped and foam-sleeved, frames wrapped separately.

The carcass is covered in acid-free tissue directly against the champagne finish, then foam sheet, then bubble wrap, with additional padding along the fluted columns where the raised edges of each flute are exposed.

The pierced apron and the carved cartouche are the most delicate projections on the piece, so both are boxed individually with foam blocked around every opening in the piercing.

Glass shelves travel in a slotted box with foam dividers. Everything goes into hardwood crates, corner-protected and marked for orientation and lift points. Multi-layer protective packaging is standard on every order at no extra charge.

Delivery is free anywhere in India and dent-free arrival is guaranteed. Nothing is added for distance, weight or handling.

Production starts once your measurements are confirmed in writing. Because the shaped end glass is formed to your own cabinet, the carcass is completed and the bow checked before that glass is made, and we photograph your actual piece at each stage so you can see the real furniture rather than a sample.

On delivery, our team brings in the body and the crated glass separately. The almirah is set and levelled first, then the doors are hung, then the shaped end panes and glass shelves are fitted in position - so no glass is under load until the cabinet is standing where it will stay.

Send us lift dimensions, stairwell turns and doorway widths beforehand and we plan the approach in advance. Every photograph here is of the actual product, not a render.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty. That is the carcass, the columns, the door frames, the base structure and every joint holding them together - all the parts that keep a glazed almirah square and its doors closing true.

A lifetime warranty against termite damage runs alongside it and never expires. The oils naturally present in teak are its first defence; the warranty is the second.

The shaped end glass, the flat glazing, the shelves and the hardware are covered against manufacturing defect. Because each bowed pane is formed to your own cabinet, we keep the shape on record so a replacement years from now still fits precisely.

The champagne finish and the metallic detail are applied by hand and logged against your order, so any later retouch can be matched. Contact us with your order number and we will handle it.
