A teak wood showcase in a two-tone finish, hand-carved by master Indian artisans, with arched centre doors and curved glass at both ends.

The front is divided into vertical bands - cream stiles alternating with figured walnut-toned panels - which makes a wide cabinet look taller and lighter than its dimensions suggest. Silver-toned carving sits at the head and foot of each band, tying them together.

The display area is fully glazed. Two arched doors open at the centre, the end bays curve forward under shaped glass, and glass shelves run through all of it so nothing sits in shadow.

Carving is concentrated at the top and the bottom: a pierced crest with a central cartouche above, and a carved base rail running out into shaped feet below. The middle of the cabinet is left clear so the display holds the attention.

Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

A front divided into vertical bands has a hidden problem: it can read as separate pieces standing side by side rather than as one cabinet.

Verticals push the eye up and down. Four or five of them next to each other, each with its own carving at top and bottom, will happily be read as four or five independent columns. Something has to travel across them and tie them into a single object.

On this showcase that job is done by the small painted motifs on the cream stiles. They are not scattered. Before any painting begins, our artisans assemble the whole front, stand it upright, and strike one horizontal line across every stile at the height where the eye naturally rests when standing in front of the cabinet. Every motif is then centred on that one line.

The effect is quiet and most people never notice it consciously. What they notice is that the cabinet reads as one piece. Take the motifs off that shared line, even slightly, and the front comes apart into strips again.

Material: solid teak in the carcass, stiles, door frames, cornice, base rail and feet.

Front: alternating cream stiles and figured walnut-toned panels, with silver-champagne carving at the head and foot of each band.

Doors: two arched glazed centre doors.

Ends: bowed and glazed with shaped glass running the full display height.

Interior: glass shelves on concealed supports through centre and end bays.

Carving: pierced crest with central cartouche, foliate work to the stile heads and feet, carved base rail and shaped feet.

Finish: two-tone walnut and cream with hand-applied silver-champagne detail, and painted motifs set on a single horizontal line across the front.

Made to order: height, width, depth, band count, shelf spacing and finish are all customisable. Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

A two-tone finish shows damage twice over - a scuff on the cream is obvious, and a scuff on the polished walnut shows in the sheen - so the entire outer surface is treated as delicate.

Acid-free tissue goes on first, directly against the finish, over both the cream stiles and the walnut panels. Foam sheet follows, then bubble wrap, with additional padding along the carved stile heads where the relief projects.

The shaped end panes are taped across the face and bedded into foam cut to their own curve, crated separately so they carry no weight. The arched centre doors are unhung and crated flat with foam between them.

The pierced crest and the shaped feet are boxed individually with foam blocked around every projection.

Glass shelves travel in a slotted box with dividers, and everything ships in hardwood crates with corner protection and orientation marking. Multi-layer protective packaging is included on every order at no extra cost.

Delivery is free anywhere in India and dent-free arrival is guaranteed. There is no charge for distance, size or handling.

Production starts once your dimensions are confirmed in writing. Because the shaped end glass is formed to your own carcass, the timber is completed and the bow verified before that glass is made, and we send photographs of your actual showcase at each stage - carcass, carving, two-tone finish, painted motifs and glazing.

On site, our team sets and levels the cabinet first, then hangs the arched doors, then fits the shaped end panes and the glass shelves, so no glass is under load until the piece is standing in its final position.

Send us lift dimensions, stair turns and doorway widths in advance so the route can be planned before dispatch. Every photograph on this page is of the actual product, not a render.

A 20-year warranty covers the solid teak frame and joinery: carcass, stiles, door frames, base structure and the joints holding them square. On a glazed cabinet that is the part that has to stay true, and it is the part we guarantee longest.

A lifetime warranty against termite damage runs with the showcase and never expires. Teak's own oils protect it from within; our warranty is what stands behind that promise.

Glass, shaped end panes, shelves and hardware are covered against manufacturing defect. Each curved pane is formed to your own cabinet and its shape stays on our records, so a replacement fits exactly even years later.

The two-tone finish, the silver detail and the painted motifs are all applied by hand and logged against your order, so a later retouch can be matched precisely. Contact us with your order number and we will arrange it.
