A modern showcase in solid teak, finished in a soft grey tone, with a lit glazed display section over a cupboard base.

The display section runs four bays wide. The two centre doors are flat and glazed with etched panes; the end bays are bowed and glazed in shaped glass, so the cabinet turns towards the room at both sides. Glass shelves carry through all four bays and internal lighting runs from above.

The base is straightforward storage. A long drawer sits directly beneath the display for flatware and linen, cupboards run below it, and the curved ends hold further shelved cupboards.

Detailing is kept to a moulded cornice with a fine bead, simple panelled doors and small carved capitals at the divisions.

Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

The floral pattern on the doors is etched into the inside face of the glass, not the outside, and there are two reasons for that.

The practical one is cleaning. An etched surface is minutely rough, and a rough surface facing a room collects dust and finger marks and holds onto them. Turn the etching inward and the face people touch is smooth glass that wipes clean in one pass, while the pattern sits protected behind it.

The second reason is what it does to the pattern. Seen from the room, you are now looking at the etching through the thickness of the pane. The design gains a faint separation from the surface - it sits slightly behind the glass rather than on it - and when the internal lighting is on, the light catches the etched face from inside and the pattern lifts.

It does mean our glass artisan has to work in reverse, cutting the design mirrored so that it reads correctly from outside. The layout is drawn on the outer face, taped, and the whole pane is worked from behind.

Material: solid teak in both carcasses, door frames, drawer box, cornice and base.

Configuration: two-part - lit glazed display section over a cupboard base, built separately and joined on site.

Display section: four bays - two flat glazed centre doors with etched panes, two bowed glazed end bays - with glass shelves on concealed supports.

Glass: floral design etched into the inner face of the panes, worked in reverse so it reads correctly from the room.

Lighting: internal lighting built in, wired concealed within the carcass.

Base: full-width drawer under the display, cupboards below, shelved cupboards inside the curved ends.

Finish: soft grey tone over teak with the grain left visible, and small carved capitals at the bay divisions.

Made to order: width, height, depth, bay count, shelf spacing, drawer and cupboard layout, etched design and finish are all customisable. Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Etched glass needs slightly different handling from plain glass, because the etched face is minutely textured and must not be rubbed.

Each etched pane travels etched-face inward against a smooth foam sheet, taped across the outer face, sleeved and crated flat, with nothing pressed against the pattern.

The shaped end panes are bedded in foam cut to their own curve. The centre doors are unhung and crated flat, frames wrapped apart from the glass.

Both carcasses are wrapped in acid-free tissue first, then foam sheet, then bubble wrap, with rigid board over the long flat runs and extra padding at the bowed ends.

Drawers are removed and wrapped individually. Glass shelves ship in a slotted box with dividers, and hardware in a labelled pack.

Hardwood crates throughout, corner-protected, marked for orientation and lift points. Multi-layer protective packaging is included with every order at no extra cost.

Delivery is free anywhere in India, with dent-free arrival guaranteed. No distance charge, no size charge, no handling fee.

Production begins once your dimensions are confirmed in writing. We photograph your actual showcase through the build - both carcasses, the etched panes before they are fitted, the grey finish, and the cabinet glazed with the lighting running.

The two sections travel separately, which makes the approach far easier than a single tall unit. On site, our team sets and levels the base, places the display section onto it, connects and tests the lighting, hangs the doors, fits the shaped end panes and installs the glass shelves last.

Send us lift dimensions, stair turns and doorway widths ahead of dispatch so the route is planned before the cabinet leaves us. Every photograph on this page is of the actual product, not a render.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty across both sections - the carcasses, the door frames, the drawer box, the base structure and every joint between them.

A lifetime warranty against termite damage runs with the showcase and never expires. Teak's natural oils protect the timber from within and our warranty stands behind that.

Glass, etched panes, shaped end glass, shelves, drawer runners, hardware and the internal lighting are covered against manufacturing defect. The etched design and the end-bay radius are both kept on our records, so a replacement pane can be made to match exactly rather than approximately.

The grey finish is applied by hand and logged against your order for future matching. Contact us with your order number and we will arrange it.
