A bow-fronted crystal display cabinet in solid teak, hand-made by master Indian artisans, with lattice glazing above and drawers below.

The display section takes up most of the height. Two doors follow the bow of the front, and both are glazed with a diamond lattice of slim gilded bars. Glass shelves inside carry the light down through the cabinet, and the ends are glazed as well so the display is visible from the side.

The base is a shallow drawer section - deliberately shallow, so it gives you somewhere to keep table linen and cloths without pushing the display too high to see into comfortably.

Carving is used sparingly and only at the base: a shell at the centre of the shaped rail, small scrolls at the corners, and cabriole feet worked by hand.

The two-tone finish keeps the case warm and the base light, so the cabinet does not read as one heavy block.

Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Setting out a diamond lattice on a flat door is straightforward. Setting it out on a bowed door is where people go wrong.

The instinct is to measure the door across its width - corner to corner in a straight line - and divide that into equal parts. But the lattice does not live on that straight line. It lives on the curved face of the door, and the curved face is longer than the straight measurement across it. Divide by the straight width and every diamond comes out slightly too narrow, and because the curve falls away fastest near the ends, the ones at the outer edges look visibly pinched next to the ones at the centre.

Our artisans set out this lattice with a flexible tape laid along the actual curved face of the finished door, dividing the real distance the bars have to travel. Only then are the bar positions marked.

Each bar is then made to the curve, and the crossings are cut so the gilded faces meet cleanly. Stand in front of the cabinet and every diamond reads the same size, right out to the edges - which is the whole point of doing it the long way.

Material: solid teak in the carcass, doors, glazing bars, drawer boxes, base rail and feet.

Front: bowed across the full width, with two curved doors following the same radius.

Glazing: diamond lattice of slim glazing bars, gilded by hand, with glazed end panels.

Interior: full-width glass shelves on concealed supports, pale finished back.

Base: two drawers with cream and gold-lined fronts, over a shaped carved base rail with a central shell.

Feet: hand-shaped cabriole feet with carved scroll detail.

Finish: walnut tone to the case, cream with fine gold lining to the drawer fronts, gilding to the glazing bars.

Made to order: height, width, depth, shelf spacing, lattice pattern, drawer count and finish are all customisable. Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Slim gilded glazing bars are the most delicate structure on this cabinet, so the doors never travel glazed and never travel loose.

Each door is unhung, laid into a foam bed cut to its own curve so the bowed frame is supported along its whole length, and crated flat on its own. The glass is taped across the face and packed separately, with the curved panes bedded in foam shaped to their radius.

The case is wrapped in acid-free tissue against the polished walnut finish - a scuff shows in the sheen of a polished surface even when it leaves no dent - then foam sheet, then bubble wrap.

The cabriole feet and the carved shell on the base rail are the furthest projections on the piece, and both are boxed with foam moulded around the profile.

Glass shelves ship in a slotted box with dividers. Everything travels in hardwood crates, corner-protected and marked for orientation. Multi-layer protective packaging is included on every order at no extra cost.

Delivery is free anywhere in India and dent-free arrival is guaranteed. No distance charge, no size charge, no handling fee.

Production starts once your dimensions are confirmed in writing. We photograph your actual cabinet as it goes - the bowed carcass, the doors with the lattice set out and cut, the gilding, and the finished piece glazed - so what you approve is the real furniture.

The doors and glass travel separately from the case. On site, our team places and levels the cabinet, hangs the doors, glazes them in position, then fits the glass shelves - so no glazing bar is under load until everything is standing where it will live.

Send us lift dimensions, stair turns and doorway widths ahead of dispatch so the route can be planned. Every photograph on this page shows the actual product, not a render.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty - the carcass, the curved door frames, the glazing bars, the drawer boxes, the base rail and the feet, along with every joint between them.

A lifetime warranty against termite damage runs with the cabinet and never expires. Teak's natural oils protect it from within and our warranty backs that for as long as you own the piece.

Glass, shelves, drawer runners and hardware are covered against manufacturing defect. The curved glazing is made to your own doors and the radius is kept on our records, so a replacement pane will fit exactly.

The walnut tone, the cream lining and the gilding on the bars are all applied by hand and logged against your order, so any later retouch is matched precisely. Contact us with your order number and we will arrange it.
