A narrow dressing table in solid teak, hand-carved by master Indian artisans in a warm champagne finish, supplied with a matching stool and made entirely to your measurements.

The shallow depth is the point. It lets a full dressing table fit where you would otherwise only manage a console, and it keeps a walkway clear behind the stool.

Three frieze drawers give you daily storage without adding bulk below the top. If you need more, we can deepen them or add a slim pedestal at one end while keeping the overall depth unchanged.

The mirror is tall and narrow to suit the table's proportions - it shows you head to waist without spreading sideways into the wall - and it sits on the table rather than being fixed to the wall, so it moves with the piece.

Photographs on this page show the actual set our artisans produced, not a computer render.

Look at the rail below the drawers. It is not straight - it dips gently between the legs and rises again as it meets them, in a long shallow wave that runs the width of the table.

That shaped frieze does more work than any other detail on this piece. A straight rail draws a hard horizontal line across the front, and the eye reads that line as the bottom of a solid block. Curve it, and the same rail reads as something suspended between the legs - the table appears to lift, and a piece with three drawers in it looks as light as one with none.

The catch is that the rail cannot be cut from a thin board and applied. It carries the drawers and ties the front legs together, so it has to be substantial, and the wave has to be shaped out of a thick piece of solid teak with the grain running along its length. Cut across the grain and the thinnest point of the dip becomes the weakest point in the table.

Our craftsmen mark the curve from a template, cut close to the line, then work the final profile by hand with the piece held against the assembled legs - so the wave is judged in place, against the actual spacing it will live with, rather than in isolation on a bench.

Material: Solid teak throughout - top, shaped frieze, drawer boxes, legs, mirror frame, scroll wings and stool frame. No veneer over engineered board.

Construction: Shaped frieze rail cut from solid stock with the grain running along its length, hand-carved cabriole legs with leaf knees and scrolled toes, carved mirror crest and scroll support wings.

Storage: Three frieze drawers. Counts, depths and internal fittings are configurable.

Mirror: Tall arched glass in a carved frame, table-standing on carved scroll wings.

Finish: Warm champagne as photographed. Any tone, sheen or gilding level can be specified.

Stool: Upholstered seat with carved shell rail on matching legs, included. Fabric is your choice.

Dimensions: Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Made: Handcrafted Indian luxury, produced to order by master Indian artisans.

The mirror, its carved crest and both scroll wings come off the table and travel in a separate crate. The glass is faced, the frame backed with a rigid board, and the wings padded individually along their sweep with the fixing hardware bagged and labelled.

The table is wrapped in a soft non-abrasive layer laid straight onto the champagne finish, then covered in shaped foam. The shaped frieze gets padding that follows the wave along its full length, since a curved edge has no flat face to protect it, and the carved leaf knees on the legs are bridged rather than pressed.

Each cabriole leg is sleeved individually along its curve with a rigid guard over the scrolled toe - on a slim table the legs are the first thing a doorframe meets.

All three drawers are removed or secured shut. The stool travels in its own box with its seat covered and its carved shell rail guarded.

Everything then goes into rigid, internally braced outer cartons. Dent-free arrival is guaranteed, and our team assembles the set in your room.

Free delivery is included anywhere in India, with no distance surcharge and nothing added at the end. Metros, tier-two cities and smaller towns are all served on the same terms.

Production begins once your width, depth, mirror height, drawer arrangement, finish and stool fabric are confirmed in writing. We give you a clear timeline at that point and keep you updated as the set moves through shaping, carving, drawer building, assembly and finishing.

We dispatch through carriers experienced with carved solid wood and mirrored furniture, and send tracking details as soon as the set leaves us.

On arrival our team positions and levels the table, fits the scroll wings and mounts the mirror, sets the stool and removes every piece of packaging. Dent-free arrival is guaranteed - if anything is not right, tell us and we will resolve it.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty - the top, the shaped frieze, all three drawer boxes, every leg joint, the mirror frame with its scroll wings and the stool.

On a table this slim, the frieze is the structural member that matters most, and it is fully covered. Because the wave is shaped from thick solid teak with the grain running along its length, the thinnest point of the dip still has unbroken fibre through it. That is what allows a shaped rail to tie the legs together and carry three drawers.

The cabriole legs are covered on the same basis - each is carved from solid stock so the curve follows the grain rather than cutting across it.

The teak carries a lifetime warranty against termite damage for as long as you own the set, from the oils in the timber rather than the finish over them.

If anything covered needs attention, send us your order details and photographs and our artisans will arrange the repair or replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this product.

We build the depth to your space. It is designed to be narrow front to back so it can sit in a passage or a tight corner, and if you send us the depth you have available our team will propose proportions that keep it usable at that size.

No, it stands on the table on a pair of carved scroll wings that spread across the back of the top, which is what keeps a tall mirror steady on a shallow table. It can be wall-hung instead if you prefer.

Three drawers across the frieze, sized for daily items. We can deepen them, add internal dividers or jewellery trays, or build a slim pedestal at one end without increasing the overall depth.

Yes. The tall narrow proportion suits the shallow table, but we can build it wider, shorter, oval, rectangular or with hinged side panels. Our carvers adjust the crest and the support wings to match.

Warm champagne as shown, plus ivory, white, cream, grey, natural teak, walnut or a custom colour you send us, in matt, satin or gloss. Gold or silver detail can be added on the carving if you want more contrast.

Yes. Send us a fabric, a colour reference or a photograph of your room and we will upholster the stool to match. Its height is matched to your table height, and we can build a second one if you need it.

Yes. Each cabriole leg is carved from solid teak so the curve follows the grain rather than cutting across it, which is what gives a slim leg its strength and why the joinery carries a 20-year warranty.

Yes. Free PAN-India delivery is included with guaranteed dent-free arrival. Our team fits the mirror to the table in your room, positions the stool and takes all the packaging away.
