This dressing table design is built around a contrast: polished figured wood for the surfaces you use, pale carved metal-toned finish for the structure that carries them.

Either half can change. Keep the walnut and put the carving in gold, ivory or white; or take the whole piece in one tone so the contrast disappears entirely. We will show you the options against a photograph of your room before deciding.

Because the mirror stands on the top rather than being fixed to the wall, it can be moved, angled or taken off entirely - useful if you ever change the room around, and it means nothing has to be drilled into your wall.

Heights are set to you, and the drawers are laid out around what you keep: divided compartments for jewellery, a deeper section for bottles, whatever suits.

Send us the wall and we build the width to it. Custom sizes are made to order and final measurements are confirmed with you in writing before production begins.

Solid teak carcass and joinery carry a 20-year warranty, everything is covered for life against termite damage, and delivery anywhere in India is free with guaranteed dent-free arrival.

The scroll support is one of the oldest ideas in furniture, and it comes from stone rather than wood. Roman tables stood on carved marble volutes, because a scroll is a shape that can be cut from a solid block without a weak point - the curve spirals in on itself and the material stays continuous.

Cabinetmakers took it up for exactly the same reason. A scroll support carries load down through a broad curve into a plinth, spreading weight over a wide footprint rather than concentrating it on four points as legs do. On a piece that will hold a loaded top and take someone leaning on it daily, that matters.

Carving one properly means shaping it from four faces at once, because a volute is a three-dimensional spiral rather than a profile cut into a board. Our master Indian artisans work the pair together, turning both constantly and checking one against the other - a scroll support that is fractionally different from its twin is obvious from directly in front, and there is nothing to hide it behind.

Material: Solid teak throughout, including top, drawer boxes, scroll supports, plinths, mirror frame and stool.

Structure: Two carved acanthus scroll supports on moulded plinth bases, in place of legs.

Top: Long shallow bow, rounded at both ends, in figured walnut-finished teak.

Storage: Bank of drawers set into the front - a wide centre drawer with shaped drawers curving round to each end. Interiors arranged to what you keep.

Mirror: Shaped outline, waisted at the sides and arched at the top under a carved crest, standing on carved feet on the table top rather than wall-fixed.

Finish: Two-tone - figured walnut top and drawer fronts with carving in silver champagne. Also available with gold, ivory or white carving, or in a single tone throughout.

Stool: Round buttoned seat on carved cabriole legs, height set to the finished table.

Sizes: Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

The two scroll supports are the most three-dimensional components here and have no flat face anywhere, so each is packed in shaped foam that follows its spiral rather than clamped at points, then crated separately.

The top travels with its bowed front edge guarded along its full length and its rounded ends protected, since the ends project furthest and take knocks first. Drawers are secured shut and their shaped fronts protected individually.

Polished walnut shows scuffs and the silver carving marks under friction, so both are covered first in soft non-abrasive layers - separately, because the two finishes want different handling.

The shaped mirror travels in its own rigid crate, glass faced with foam board and the waisted frame edge-guarded around its full profile.

The stool travels whole. Everything is crated together with handling instructions. Every photograph here shows the actual furniture before packing - not a render.

Delivery is free anywhere in India and included in the price you are quoted, with no freight, packing or handling charge added later.

Production begins once your sizes, drawer layout and finish are confirmed in writing. We give you a realistic timeline then and send photographs of your own dressing table as the scroll supports are carved and the two finishes laid.

On arrival the supports are positioned and the top set onto them, everything levelled against your floor, the mirror stood on the top and its angle set with you seated, and the stool height checked. Because the mirror is not wall-fixed, nothing needs drilling. We guarantee dent-free arrival, and if anything is not right, tell us and we will make it right.

The solid teak carcass and joinery are covered for 20 years - the top, the drawer boxes, both scroll supports, the plinths, the mirror frame and the stool.

A lifetime warranty against termite damage runs with it for as long as you own the piece, backed by teak's own resistance and confirmed in writing.

On a piece carried by two supports rather than four legs, the joints between top and supports take everything, and they are cut deeper than a legged table would need. That is what the warranty stands behind.

The two-tone finish can be renewed on either half independently - the walnut sanded back and re-polished, or the silver carving cleaned back and re-laid - and because we record both, the refresh matches the original. Shaped mirror glass is replaceable to its exact outline, and drawer runners and pulls to your piece. Our own master Indian artisans do the work and explain what it involves before starting.

Yes. Tell us your height and we set the top so your elbows rest comfortably when seated, then set the stool to the table.
