A triple mirror dressing table in solid teak, hand-carved by master Indian artisans in a champagne finish, made entirely to your measurements and supplied with a round stool.

The three glasses in one fixed frame give you the width of a trifold without any moving parts - nothing to adjust, nothing to fold, and a single continuous carved outline against the wall.

The drapery carving on the pedestals is what makes the piece. Carved cloth is the hardest subject in the trade, and it is worth seeing in person.

Five drawers give everyday capacity, and the carved plinth bases keep the lowest drawer well clear of the floor.

The champagne finish sits between warm and cool, which suits both ivory and grey rooms. Any other tone can be specified. Photographs on this page show the actual set our artisans produced, not a computer render.

Carving cloth is the hardest thing a wood carver is asked to do, and the swags falling down the front of each pedestal here are exactly that.

The difficulty is that everything about wood argues against the illusion. Wood is rigid, heavy and grained in one direction; cloth is limp, light and has no grain at all. A carved swag that looks like carved wood pretending to be cloth is a failure, and the failure is instantly obvious to anyone who has ever seen a curtain.

What sells it is the behaviour of the folds. Real fabric gathers tightly where it is held and opens as it falls, the folds get deeper and further apart with distance from the fixing, and no two are the same width. A carver who spaces the folds evenly - which is the instinct - produces something that reads as a machined moulding rather than as cloth.

So our artisans work the gathering point first, establishing where the fabric is pinched at the top corner, and then let each fold follow from the one above it rather than from a drawn plan. The depth increases as the swag descends, and the undercutting at the lower edge is taken as far as the timber safely allows, because that shadow underneath is what tells the eye the cloth is hanging free rather than lying flat on the panel.

The tassel at the end is carved last, and it is the piece the carver signs off on - because a tassel that hangs straight down while the swag beside it is still moving gives the whole thing away.

Material: Solid teak throughout - pedestals, all five drawer boxes, top, mirror frame, plinths and stool frame. No veneer over engineered board.

Construction: Hand-carved drapery swags with tassels on pedestal fronts, three shaped glasses set within one continuous carved frame, shell and scroll crest, heavily carved shaped plinths with scrolled feet.

Mirror: Tall shaped centre pane with two curved side panes, fixed within a single frame. No moving parts.

Storage: Five drawers across the pedestals and centre. Counts, depths and internal fittings are configurable.

Finish: Champagne with carving picked out a shade brighter, as photographed. Any tone or gilding can be specified.

Stool: Round upholstered seat on carved cabriole legs, included. Fabric is your choice.

Dimensions: Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Made: Handcrafted Indian luxury, produced to order by master Indian artisans.

The mirror travels crated alone. All three glasses stay in their frame, each faced individually, and a rigid board is fitted behind the whole assembly so the continuous outline cannot flex at the narrow points between panes. The shell crest and the outer scrolls are given their own rigid guards.

Both pedestals are wrapped in a soft, lint-free layer laid on without tension, then given foam shaped to bridge over the drapery carving - support rests on the flat surrounds and never on a fold or a tassel, which are the points that project furthest and are most easily broken.

The carved plinths and scrolled feet sit lowest and take the first contact from a trolley, so each corner gets a rigid guard.

All five drawers are removed or secured shut so nothing can run out and strike a carved front.

The round stool travels in its own box with its seat covered and its cabriole legs padded one by one. Everything goes into rigid, internally braced outer cartons. Dent-free arrival is guaranteed.

Delivery is free anywhere in India, with no distance surcharge and nothing added at the end. Metros, tier-two cities and smaller towns are served on the same terms.

Production begins once your dimensions, drawer layout, carving depth, finish and stool fabric are confirmed in writing. Drapery carving is among the slowest work at our bench, so we give you an honest timeline at that point and keep you updated as the set moves through carving, assembly and finishing.

We dispatch through carriers experienced with carved solid wood and mirrored furniture, and send tracking details as soon as the set leaves us.

On arrival our team positions and levels both pedestals, joins the top, mounts the mirror, places the stool and removes every piece of packaging. Dent-free arrival is guaranteed - if anything is not right, tell us and we will resolve it.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty - both pedestals, all five drawer boxes, the top, the carved plinths and feet, the mirror frame and the stool.

Deep drapery carving makes that guarantee more demanding, and it is met by material rather than by luck. Undercutting a swag so it appears to hang free removes a great deal of timber from a panel that still has to hold a pedestal front flat and square, so the stock is selected and sized for the carving that will go into it before any cutting begins.

The single-frame mirror is covered too, and it is inherently more robust than a hinged one - there are no moving joints to wear, and the three panes are held in a continuous carved surround cut from solid teak.

The teak carries a lifetime warranty against termite damage for as long as you own the set, from the oils in the timber rather than the finish over them.

If anything covered needs attention, send us your order details and photographs and our artisans will arrange the repair or replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this product.

No - all three glasses are fixed within one continuous carved frame, and the side panes are angled by their shaping so you still catch the sides of your head. There is nothing to adjust and no hinges to wear. If you would prefer folding wings, we build those too.

Drapery - swags of cloth gathered at the top corners and falling in folds with tassels at their ends, carved directly into solid teak. It is the most demanding subject in carving, because the folds have to behave like fabric rather than like evenly spaced moulding.

Yes. The drapery can be carved in shallower relief, replaced with a plainer panelled front, or reduced to a carved border with the detail kept on the mirror frame and plinths. It is agreed with you before work starts.

Five across the pedestals and centre. Counts, depths and internal fittings can all be changed - we can add drawers, deepen them, fit jewellery trays and dividers, or include a lockable drawer.

Champagne with the carving picked out a shade brighter as shown, plus ivory, cream, white, grey, gold or silver leafed carving, natural teak, walnut or a custom colour you send us, in matt, satin or gloss.

Any size that suits your room. Width, depth, height, knee recess and mirror dimensions are all set by you and confirmed in writing before we cut timber. Send us your wall measurements and our team will propose balanced proportions.

Yes, the round upholstered stool on carved cabriole legs comes with the vanity. You choose its fabric and height, and we can build a second one or supply a chair instead if you prefer.

A 20-year warranty on the solid teak frame and joinery, including all five drawer boxes, the carved plinths and the mirror frame, plus a lifetime warranty against termite damage on the teak. Send your order details and photographs if anything needs attention.
