A dark wood showcase in solid teak, hand-built by master Indian artisans, with three glazed doors above and drawers below.

The display section runs most of the height. Three doors - an arched centre and two square-headed outer doors - are divided by half-round fluted columns, and both ends are glazed. Glass shelves on concealed supports carry through the whole interior, with lighting built in.

Above, the cornice is moulded and dentilled, with a small carved crest at the centre.

The base holds three drawers on a moulded plinth. A full dust board separates them from the display above.

The restraint is the point: a dark, quiet cabinet lets pale porcelain, silver and glass read strongly against it, where a heavily ornamented cabinet would compete with them.

Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

There is a full dust board between the drawers and the display section of this cabinet, and it is there for a reason most people never think about.

A drawer is a piston. Push it in and the air inside the carcass has to go somewhere; pull it out and air is drawn back in. That air carries dust with it, every single time. In an ordinary chest that is harmless - the dust ends up in another drawer.

In a glazed cabinet it is not harmless. If the drawer section is open to the display above, then every use of a drawer breathes dust up into the space where the glass and porcelain are, and it settles on the shelves. The owner ends up wondering why a sealed cabinet needs cleaning so often.

So the display compartment is closed off with a solid dust board across the full depth and width, fitted into grooves in the carcass sides rather than simply screwed underneath, so there is no gap at the edges for air to travel through.

It costs a board and an afternoon. It is the difference between wiping the shelves twice a year and wiping them every month.

Material: solid teak in the carcass, door frames, columns, drawer boxes, cornice and plinth.

Display section: three glazed doors - arched centre, square-headed outer pair - with glazed end panels and glass shelves on concealed supports.

Columns: half-round fluted columns applied at the door divisions.

Lighting: internal lighting built in, wired concealed within the carcass.

Base: row of drawers with moulded fronts, on a moulded plinth, separated from the display by a full dust board fitted into grooved carcass sides.

Cornice: moulded and dentilled, with a carved centre crest.

Finish: deep dark tone, polished, with the grain left visible.

Made to order: height, width, depth, door count, shelf spacing, drawer layout and finish tone are all customisable. Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

A dark polished surface shows a scuff in its sheen even when there is no dent, so the outer surfaces are protected first and hardest.

Acid-free tissue goes directly against the polish, then foam sheet, then bubble wrap, with rigid board across the largest flat runs and extra padding along the fluted columns, where the raised edge of each flute is exposed.

The three doors are unhung and crated flat, panes taped across the face and foam-sleeved separately from the frames, with the arched head bedded in foam cut to its shape. The glazed end panels travel the same way.

Drawers are removed, wrapped individually and packed in a compartmented box.

The carved crest and the cornice edge are given individual foam blocking, and glass shelves ship in a slotted box with dividers.

Hardwood crates, corner protection at every arris, orientation marking. Multi-layer protective packaging is included on every order at no extra cost.

Delivery is free anywhere in India, with dent-free arrival guaranteed. No distance charge, no size charge and no handling fee.

Production starts once your dimensions are confirmed in writing, and we photograph your actual showcase through the build - carcass, columns and cornice fitted, polishing, and the cabinet glazed with the lighting running.

On site, our team places and levels the cabinet, connects and tests the lighting, hangs the doors, fits the glazed end panels, installs the glass shelves and refits the drawers.

Send us lift dimensions, stair turns and doorway widths before dispatch so the route can be planned in advance. Every photograph on this page is of the actual product, not a render.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty - the carcass, the door frames, the columns, the drawer boxes, the plinth and every joint between them.

A lifetime warranty against termite damage runs with the showcase and never expires. Teak's natural oils protect the timber from within, and our warranty stands behind that for as long as you own it.

Glass, shelves, shelf supports, drawer runners, hardware and the internal lighting are all covered against manufacturing defect.

The dark polished finish is applied by hand and recorded against your order number. On a polished timber finish a retouch has to match both the colour and the sheen, so we work from that record rather than by eye. Contact us with your order number and we will arrange it.
