A dark wood dressing table in solid teak, hand-built by master Indian artisans and made entirely to your measurements, with a hinged trifold mirror, six drawers and a matching stool.

Its restraint is what makes it useful. Without carving or colour, it settles into a room that already has a lot going on, and it works as easily in a modern bedroom as in a traditional one.

A deep tone on teak is different from a deep tone on a lesser timber - the grain stays visible through it rather than being buried, so the piece reads as wood rather than as a dark surface.

Six drawers across two pedestals cover most storage needs, and the trifold mirror folds flat when you want the wall quiet.

Choose the tone, the drawer layout, the mirror configuration and every dimension. Photographs on this page show the actual set our artisans built, not a computer render.

Look at the base. The carcass does not sit on legs - it sits on a plinth, a shallow box that runs around the bottom of the piece, and the feet are cut into the corners of that plinth as brackets rather than added underneath it.

That arrangement was invented to solve a real problem. Furniture standing on four separate legs concentrates its whole weight on four small points, and on an uneven floor it rocks. A plinth spreads the load along its full length and touches the floor as a continuous line, so a heavy loaded chest stays steady on boards that are not quite flat.

The bracket foot is what stops the plinth looking like a block. Cutting a shaped curve up into each corner lifts the visual weight, gives the piece a foot to stand on, and leaves the load path exactly where it was.

The craft is in the corners. Each bracket is mitred, so two shaped pieces meet at forty-five degrees with the profile continuing unbroken around the turn. A mitre that is a fraction open shows as a dark hairline exactly at eye level when you walk past - and on a piece with no carving to distract you, it is the first thing anyone would notice.

Our craftsmen cut, fit and glue those corners individually, testing each mitre dry against its own corner of the plinth before it is committed.

Material: Solid teak throughout - pedestals, all six drawer boxes, top, plinth, mirror frames and stool frame. No veneer over engineered board.

Construction: Plinth base with mitred bracket feet, beaded flat drawer fronts on jointed solid teak boxes, shaped knee recess, slim moulded trifold mirror frames on hinges.

Storage: Three drawers in each pedestal. Counts, depths and internal fittings are configurable.

Mirror: Arched centre panel with two hinged shaped wings, folding to any angle or flat.

Finish: Deep even tone with the grain left readable, as photographed. Any tone and sheen can be specified.

Stool: Upholstered seat on turned tapered legs, included. Fabric is your choice.

Dimensions: Custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production.

Made: Handcrafted Indian luxury, produced to order by master Indian artisans.

All three mirror panels are separated at the hinges and crated individually. Each glass is faced, each frame backed with a rigid board so it cannot flex, and the hinge pins and fittings are bagged and labelled so reassembly is quick on delivery day.

The vanity is wrapped in a soft non-abrasive layer laid straight onto the finish - a dark, deeply polished surface shows a scuff far more readily than a pale one, so the wrap is chosen for that and applied without tension.

Shaped foam goes over it, with additional thickness along the top edges and around the plinth. The mitred bracket feet sit lowest and are the corner a trolley meets first, so each one gets its own rigid guard.

All six drawers are removed or secured shut so nothing can slide out and strike a front. The stool travels in its own box with the seat covered and each turned leg padded separately.

Everything then goes into rigid, internally braced outer cartons. Dent-free arrival is guaranteed, and our team assembles the set in your room.

Delivery is free anywhere in India, with no distance surcharge and nothing added at the end. Metros, tier-two cities and smaller towns are served on the same terms.

Production begins once your dimensions, drawer layout, mirror configuration, finish tone and stool fabric are confirmed in writing. Deep tones are built in layers and need curing time between coats, so we give you an honest timeline then and keep you updated as the set moves through joinery, drawer building, assembly and finishing.

We dispatch through carriers experienced with solid wood and mirrored furniture, and send tracking details as soon as the set leaves us.

On arrival our team positions and levels the vanity, mounts the centre mirror, hangs both wings and checks they hold their angle, places the stool and removes every piece of packaging. Dent-free arrival is guaranteed - if anything is not right, tell us and we will resolve it.

The solid teak frame and joinery carry a 20-year warranty - both pedestals, all six drawer boxes, the top, the plinth and its bracket feet, all three mirror frames with their hinges, and the stool.

On a piece with no ornament, construction is the entire product, and that is exactly what this guarantee covers. The drawer boxes are jointed solid teak with solid sides and backs; the plinth is mitred at the corners rather than butted and filled; the mirror wings are hung so their weight is carried into the frames rather than into the hinge leaves alone.

The teak carries a lifetime warranty against termite damage for as long as you own the set, from the oils naturally in the timber rather than from the finish over them.

If anything covered needs attention, send us your order details and photographs and the artisans who built it will arrange the repair or replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this product.

From natural teak through honey, walnut, deep espresso and near-black, all built in layers so the grain stays readable rather than buried. Send us a reference tone and we will match it, in matt, satin or gloss.

Yes. Both side panels are hinged to the arched centre, so you can swing them inward to see the sides of your head or fold them flat against the centre for a single mirror. They hold whatever angle you set.

Six, three in each pedestal. Counts, depths and internal fittings can all be changed - we can add a centre drawer above the knee space, deepen individual drawers, or fit jewellery trays and dividers.

A plinth spreads the weight along a continuous line rather than onto four points, so a loaded vanity stays steady on floors that are not perfectly flat, and the bracket feet cut into its corners keep it from looking heavy. We can build it on legs if you prefer.

Yes. There is no carving, no gilding and no applied ornament - the design relies on proportion and on the timber itself, so it sits comfortably alongside contemporary furniture as well as traditional pieces.

Any size that suits your room. Width, depth, height, knee recess and mirror dimensions are all set by you and confirmed in writing before we cut timber. Send us your wall measurements and our team will propose balanced proportions.

Yes. Send us a fabric, a colour reference or a photograph of your room and we will upholster the seat to match, and match the stool height to your table.

A 20-year warranty on the solid teak frame and joinery, including all six drawer boxes, the mitred plinth and the mirror hinges, and a lifetime warranty against termite damage on the teak. Send your order details and photographs if anything needs attention.
