A designer wardrobe is one where the design does more than decorate - here the whole front is composed rather than repeated, with a carved openwork panel at the centre, fabric panels at the sides, and a pale limed finish over solid teak.

It is hand-carved by master Indian artisans. The scroll panel across the centre doors is cut through the solid and tinted; the fabric panels are stretched over their own sub-frames and fitted into moulded door surrounds.

An arched cornice with a carved crest caps the piece, and a shaped carved apron runs between cabriole feet at the base.

Every wardrobe is made to order and fully customisable. Width, height, depth, door count, fabric, tint colour, finish and interior layout are all specified by you, with custom sizes made to order and dimensions confirmed in writing before production.

The solid teak carcass and joinery carry a 20-year warranty plus lifetime cover against termite damage. Delivery is free anywhere in India, guaranteed dent-free.

Fabric is the only part of a wardrobe that is certain to be changed within its life. Timber lasts decades, carving lasts longer, a good finish can be revived - but a fabric panel will eventually be tired, or simply wrong for a room that has been redecorated around it. So the question for the maker is not how to fix the fabric down. It is how to make it removable.

The wrong answer, and the common one, is to stretch the fabric across the back of the door frame and fix it there. It looks identical on day one. It also means that changing the fabric requires taking the door off, stripping the fixings out of the rebate and re-fixing into timber that has already been perforated once - and after two or three changes that rebate no longer holds.

So our master Indian artisans build each fabric panel on its own separate sub-frame, stretch the fabric over that, and then fit the completed panel into the door with a removable bead moulding. To change the fabric you lift out the bead, take out the panel, and re-cover it on a bench - the door itself is never touched and never weakened.

It is a small decision made at the beginning that decides whether the wardrobe is still yours in fifteen years.

Material: solid teak carcass, doors and frame, hand-carved. No veneer, no engineered board.

Configuration: four doors - a centre pair carrying a shared openwork carved panel, and outer doors panelled in fabric.

Centre panel: scrollwork cut through the solid and hand-tinted.

Fabric panels: stretched over separate sub-frames and fitted with removable bead mouldings so the fabric can be changed without dismantling the doors.

Carving: arched cornice with carved crest, carved corner sprays, shaped carved apron, carved cabriole feet.

Finish: pale limed teak showing the grain, sealed for durability.

Interior: planned to your requirements - hanging, shelving, drawers, shoe storage, lockable compartments.

Sizes: custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production, including access dimensions.

Warranty: 20 years on the solid teak carcass and joinery; lifetime cover against termite damage.

Fabric and openwork carving need opposite kinds of protection, so this wardrobe is packed in two logics at once.

The fabric panels are protected by a clean, breathable barrier laid directly against them - nothing that could mark, press a pattern into the weave, or trap moisture against the cloth.

The carved centre panel is openwork, so it is protected with shaped supports that touch only its solid parts and leave the pierced areas clear.

All doors are secured closed and braced so nothing can swing or work against its hinges. The arched cornice, the crest, the shaped apron and the cabriole feet each receive individually shaped protection.

The carcass enters a rigid outer crate with cushioning on every face, corner protection at all eight corners, and strapping that prevents movement.

This multi-layer protective packaging is why we guarantee dent-free arrival.

Delivery is free across India - no freight charge, no distance surcharge, and no difference between a metro address and a smaller town.

Because every wardrobe is made to order, we confirm your finished dimensions, your fabric choice and your access dimensions - doorway widths, stair turns, lift size - in writing before production begins. Where access requires it, the wardrobe is built to knock down into sections that assemble in the room.

Once complete it is packed as described and dispatched with a carrier used to handling large carved furniture. You are contacted ahead of delivery so someone can be present.

Arrival is guaranteed dent-free. If any transit damage has occurred, photograph it while the delivery team is present and contact us - we will resolve it. If you ever want the fabric changed later, we can supply re-covered panels that you fit yourself by lifting out the bead moulding.

The solid teak carcass and its joinery carry a 20-year warranty from the day the wardrobe reaches you - the frame, the door construction and hinging, the fabric panel sub-frames and their bead mouldings, the cornice and crest joints, and the carved apron and feet.

Lifetime cover against termite damage applies for the life of the furniture rather than a fixed term. Because the piece is seasoned solid teak throughout - carcass, doors, panel sub-frames, backs and internal fittings - there is no board core anywhere for insects to reach.

If a warranty issue arises, send us photographs and we will assess and repair or replace. Door alignment is covered, and so is the openwork panel across the centre pair, which is re-cut from solid teak and re-tinted to match if ever needed. Fabric is a wearing surface rather than a structural one, and it is designed to be re-covered - we can supply new panels at any time. Both warranties apply anywhere in India.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this product.

Yes. You choose the fabric and we upholster the panels in it. If you would rather supply your own material, we will work with that too - tell us before production.

Yes, and the wardrobe is built for it. Each panel sits on its own sub-frame held in by a removable bead moulding, so a panel lifts out and can be re-covered without taking the door off or weakening it.

Yes. The outer doors can carry carved panels, plain panels, mirrors or the same openwork scrollwork as the centre. Tell us the combination you want.

Yes. The scroll panel can be tinted in any colour, gilded, silvered, or left in the same limed teak as the rest so the relief reads in the timber alone.

Yes, entirely. Hanging, shelving, drawers, shoe storage, a lockable compartment, interior lighting - built to your requirements and confirmed in writing before production.

No. It is sealed, so a soft dry cloth is all it needs. The fabric panels take normal upholstery care - light vacuuming with a brush head.

Yes. Width, height, depth and door count are all specified by you, and the centre panel and fabric panels are laid out afresh so proportions stay right.
