A wall console table is a table designed around the wall it stands against - proportioned to fill a specific bay rather than to be moved about a room. This one is solid teak, hand-carved by master Indian artisans, and it comes with a tall mirror framed by carved pillars so table and mirror together occupy the wall as one composition.

The ornament is architectural in character: a reeded band under the top, a carved rosette medallion at the centre of the apron, pillars flanking the mirror on their own plinths, and a moulded head with a pierced crest above.

The finish is a warm antiqued gold, quieter than a bright gilding, which suits a piece meant to sit against a wall permanently rather than announce itself.

Every set is made to order and fully customisable. Console length, depth and height, mirror height, marble and finish tone are all yours to specify, with custom sizes made to order and dimensions confirmed in writing before production. Both pieces carry a 20-year warranty on the solid teak frame and joinery plus lifetime termite cover, and delivery is free anywhere in India.

The rosette at the centre of this apron looks like the simplest thing on the table and is one of the least forgiving. A rosette is a circle divided into equal petals, and the eye can detect an error of a fraction of a degree in that division - not as a measurement, but as a wobble.

Measuring the divisions with a protractor does not work well in practice, because any small error at each step accumulates around the circle and lands as a visible gap at the last petal. So our master Indian artisans do it the old way, with dividers. The points are set to a best guess of one petal's width and then stepped round the circumference. If the last step falls short of the starting mark, the dividers are opened a hair; if it overshoots, they are closed. Step round again. Three or four passes and the last step lands exactly on the first.

Only then is anything cut. The petals are carved outward from the centre so the hollows all run the same way and the light behaves consistently across the whole flower, and the outer ring is cut last so the edge stays crisp.

Material: solid teak throughout, console and mirror frame, hand-carved. No veneer, no engineered board.

Console: reeded band under the top, carved rosette medallion at the apron centre, pierced foliate scrollwork either side, cabriole legs with scrolled toes, shaped stretcher with carved rosettes and a turned centre drop.

Top: marble slab with a hand-moulded edge following the shaped front.

Mirror: plate framed by carved pillars on plinths, with a moulded head, pierced crest and carved base rail.

Finish: hand-applied antiqued gold over the carved teak, sealed for durability, matched across both pieces.

Sizes: custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production, including combined height.

Warranty: 20 years on the solid teak frames and joinery; lifetime cover against termite damage.

Photography: images show the actual product, not renders.

The mirror's pillars and its pierced crest are the elements that project furthest on this set, and they are protected first. Each pillar is wrapped along its full length and given shaped support at its plinth; the crest is packed with shaped blocks on both faces so it cannot rock against the frame.

The console is wrapped in a soft non-abrasive layer against the finish, then in foam cut to sit around the rosette medallion, the pierced foliage and the scrolled toes rather than pressed onto them. The reeded band under the top is protected along its full run, since fine parallel detail shows a rub more readily than a plain surface.

The marble travels flat on a padded board with edge guards on all four sides, packed separately from both frames.

Everything goes into rigid outer crates with cushioning on every face and strapping that prevents movement. This multi-layer protective packaging is why we guarantee dent-free arrival.

Delivery is free anywhere in India for the complete set. No freight charge, no distance surcharge, no difference between a metro address and a smaller town.

Every set is made to order, so production begins once your dimensions, marble and finish tone are confirmed in writing. We share the build timeline at that point and keep you updated through carving, finishing and glazing.

Crates travel together with a carrier used to handling carved furniture, stone and mirror glass, and you are contacted before delivery so someone can be present to receive and inspect the set.

Arrival is guaranteed dent-free. If transit damage occurs, photograph it with the delivery team present and contact us - we will resolve it. On site the marble is laid onto the console and the mirror stood above it on its base rail. Because the mirror is tall, we recommend wall-securing it; tell us before production and the fixings are built into the frame.

Twenty years on the solid teak frames and their joinery, from the day the set reaches you. On the console that covers the leg joints, the apron, the stretcher and the marble's bed; on the mirror it covers the pillar plinths, the frame joints, the head and crest, and the rebate holding the plate.

Lifetime cover against termite damage applies to both pieces for the life of the furniture rather than a fixed term. Seasoned solid teak carries oils termites avoid, and with both pieces built in teak throughout there is no board core anywhere for them to find.

If anything covered arises, send photographs and we will assess and repair or replace. Repairs are carried out by artisans working in the original techniques and the antiqued finish is matched to the surrounding surface, so a repaired area settles into the piece rather than standing out against it. Both warranties apply anywhere in India and travel with the furniture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this product.

It is a console proportioned to a particular stretch of wall and meant to stay there - usually paired with a mirror or artwork above so the two read as one arrangement rather than as separate objects.

Yes. The console and the pillared mirror are built together as a set, finished to the same tone and delivered together. Either can also be ordered on its own.

Yes, and that is the usual way it is ordered. Give us the width you want the arrangement to occupy and the height available, and the console and mirror are drawn to fill it. Dimensions are confirmed in writing before production.

A warm antiqued gold laid by hand over the carved teak and sealed - quieter than a bright gilding. It can also be built in bright gold, silver, a dark ground with gold highlights, or a natural teak polish.

We recommend it because of its height. Tell us before production and the fixings are built into the back of the frame so nothing shows from the front.

Yes. White, cream, grey, green, black or a strongly veined stone, with the moulded edge cut to follow whichever slab you choose.

20 years on the solid teak frames and joinery for both pieces, plus lifetime cover against termite damage, anywhere in India.

Yes, anywhere in India. Console, mirror and marble travel in separate multi-layer protective packaging and the set is guaranteed to arrive dent-free.
